Notice: At this time LIPI is not seeking new members or  accepting applications to join. Inquiries about joining will be deleted without response.

In reviewing prospective members we particularly look for individuals who have the follow:

• Must be able to meet regularly on Thursday evenings from 7:00pm to 2:00am.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have reliable cell phone with send & receive text messaging service.
• Must be able to attend at least 1 trip per year.
• Must be available for house/business investigations as required.
• Must be able to perform evidence analysis at home or during weekly office hours.
• Must be able to follow directions, respect  and obey the chain of command.
• Able to work as a team with members and guests of LIPI.
• Able to use field equipment
and a strong desire to learn about the investigation equipment and techniques we use and apply them on investigations.
• Able to do work at home if needed
(e.g. a computer, internet connection, email, printer/scanner etc).
• Dedicated to the goals and standards of LIPI.
• Open minded to paranormal theories and concepts.
• Exhibit critical analytic thinking.
• A strong motivation and eagerness to investigate the paranormal.
• Energetic, outspoken, good spirited, and positive attitude.
• Any prior paranormal investigation experience or equipment skills is helpful but not required.
• 21 or older with valid identification.

All prospective members are required to show proper identification, complete our membership application and additional forms, be interviewed by officers of LIPI, and satisfactorily complete a probationary period. Other terms, requirements and/or stipulations may apply.
