The building and land go back to the early 1700's
and was used by the British during the Revolutionary War. Later George
Washington and other Revolutionary figures visited the area. There are
several graves dating back to the 1700-1800's.
Observed Paranormal Activity: This location is one of
the most consistently active paranormal locations LIPI has encountered on Long Island
so far! The
graveyard has yielded many EVP's and
unusual photographs. In the open area around the graveyard investigators
have consistently seen a large (6-7 feet tall!) all black shadow/apparition,
though as yet not been successfully photographed. Efforts continue. Of less
frequent occurrence bright orange/red orbs have also been seen clearly
moving through the area that can not be explained by lights or nearby
traffic. Also, intense cold spots - as much as 20 degrees below baseline! -
have been encountered here. Mists have been seen forming, moving, and then
disappearing with no obvious atmospheric reason. Investigation at this location continues.

you will hear a man's voice saying "OK".

fountain, at the end of our investigation. First you will hear LIPI

Fleischmann say "Yea" twice. Then near the end of the recording you
will hear a voice saying "Can we (or Are we) getting out of here?"

Description: This EVP was recorded in the middle of the grave
yard. As you hear the voice of LIPI EVP Specialist Jaiem Fleischmann's
voice another louder voice speaks over his. We believe it is saying
"Look here". Of particular interest is that exactly 10 seconds after
this EVP is recorded Jaiem and investigator Michael Bainbridge both
note hearing what sounds like foot steps next to them! |
