Recent Investigations by Long Island Paranormal Investigators:

LIPI Meets Southern Ghosts from New Orleans, LA
 

Long Island Paranormal Investigators was recently contacted by Karen Jeffries from New Orleans. Karen is with a a group called Southern Ghosts. Her group coordinates trips to haunted locations such as Gettysburg, St. Augustine Lighthouse, etc. for people interested in investigating these place. She was taking a trip to Long Island to meet with some friends and she had really wanted to take them on an investigation. So Karen contacted LIPI for tips on where she could go. Members of Long Island Paranormal Investigators we joined her and her friends on a joint investigation at Ronkonkoma County Park.

LIPI members that attended were Lead Investigator Mike Cardinuto, investigators Mike Bainbridge, Thelma D'Amico, Peter Ferraro and Cheryl Whitmann. Karen met us at the LIPI office where we spent some time with her and her  five guests to share some stories & answer some questions they had for us.

When we arrived at the location, Karen asked that we don't disclose what the legend is to see if she could pick up anything or sense anything. She considers herself a little sensitive so she wanted to test out her skill by not being told anything about the site.

Some of the equipment we brought along included EMF, Barometer, Dig Thermometer, Dig Recorders & Zap Checker. The investigation lasted about an hour and a half before we called it a night.

We had a really great time with our new friends and loved that we could help Karen have a memorable experience. We're looking forward to one day visiting her when we go down to New Orleans.
