George Greenman House

A Brief History: The George Greenman House in located in Mystic Seaport Connecticut. George Greenman was one of three brothers who founded George Greenman & Co. which was a shipyard in Mystic, CT. The house was built in 1839 and was supposedly a stop on the Underground Railroad. It’s located on Greenmanville Avenue in Mystic Connecticut. Today the house looks the same as it did in the 1900s and will be restored and open to visitors.

Haunted History: People have claimed to see a woman peek out the top window and then disappear. There are also claims of feeling an unusual cold spot and then the cold feeling suddenly goes away.
