Manor Plains Nature Park

Manor Plains Nature Park

A Brief History: Manor Plains Nature Park is located at 91 Manor Road in Huntington New York. The land was purchased by the town in 1963. It was originally owned by the Perkowski Family where they would grow crops on the land for many generations prior to selling. The area where the park is located is a well known historic farming region and is the oldest known Native American agricultural field recorded in Long Island’s history, dating as far back as the 1640’s.

Haunted History: There have been claims of seeing a woman in white standing in the middle of the field and then disappear. There have also been claims of hearing children playing in the middle of the night and then just fade away. People have also claimed to see shadow people lurking around the park.
